Hops give beer its bitter bite and have traditionally been used to balance out sweet malt flavors. At Odell, we've invested significantly over the years to research and develop new hop exposure processes designed to deliver unique and optimal flavors to our beers.

We custom designed our hop back to run hot wort over whole hops in order to extract non-bittering hop flavors and aroma. Our dry hopping process was specially created to submerge bags of whole hops into fermented beer-without letting the bags sink or float. This extracts a final, fresh hop flavor. The happily hoppy results of all this can be savored in every sip of our 5 Barrel Pale Ale, hopped in eight stages with six different hops and our IPA, hopped in seven stages with six different hops.
